What this page is for
This page explains how to have your CHEMAZON account and the personal data attached to it deleted, whether you registered on the website or in the mobile app. You do not need to be signed in to send a deletion request.
How to request deletion
Email support@chemazon.store from the address registered on your account with the subject “Account deletion request”, or send the same request from our contact page. Include your registered email, your company name, and whether you want the whole account deleted or only specific data removed.
Verifying it is you
Deletion is irreversible, so we confirm every request before acting on it. We reply to the registered email address and may ask one or two questions that match your account record. We will not act on a request we cannot tie to the account holder.
Before you request
Deletion cannot proceed while an order is open. Complete, cancel or settle any pending orders, payments, returns and settlements first. Sellers should delist active products and close outstanding orders, so that buyers with confirmed orders are not left without a supplier.
What is deleted
Your profile and login credentials, contact and company details, delivery and pickup addresses, cart and saved lists, notification preferences and push notification tokens, enquiry history, uploaded KYC and business documents, and support correspondence not required as a legal record. Once this is done, sign-in stops working and the data cannot be recovered.
What we keep, and why
Only records the law requires us to retain: completed order, invoice, GST and other tax and accounting records, and material needed for an open dispute, fraud investigation or regulatory requirement. These are kept for the retention period the applicable law sets, are used for no other purpose, and are deleted at the end of it. Aggregate statistics that no longer identify you or your company may be retained.
How long it takes
We acknowledge requests within 3 business days and complete verified deletions within 30 days. Copies held in encrypted backups are overwritten on the normal backup rotation, within 90 days at the latest.
Deleting only some data
You do not have to delete everything. You can ask us to remove specific items — a stored address, an uploaded document, your push notification token — or to deactivate the account and leave it dormant instead. State what you want in your request.
Removing the app
Uninstalling the mobile app removes the app and its stored session from that device only. It does not delete your account or your data; use the request process above for that.
